THE TOP 5 HAPPY HOUR SPOTS IN SAVANNAH,GA

Kyara Mejia

Savannah, Georgia is a drinking capital. It has a law that excites “the hostess city” tourists and locals by allowing them to be able to walk around the downtown area and, at the same time, be able to drink an alcoholic beverage. The alcoholic beverage must be in a plastic container and measure no more than 16 ounces. This law attracts both young and old folk to experience Savannah’s night life.

I recently turned 21 and being able to experience the night life in Savannah has been a blast. I’ve discovered many dive bars, exotic handcrafted cocktails, rooftop bars and extraordinary mixologists. My newest adventure included exploring places that offer a “Happy Hour” in the city. I compiled a list of my top 5 best “Happy Hour” places around “the hostess city”. These top 5 places were chosen based on their atmosphere,  the qualitiy of their drinks, and low cost.
